It's been quite the few years for Hot Indian Foods.

What started as a food truck in 2013 serving simplified Indian cuisine has led to a location at America's biggest mall.

The eatery announced Wednesday that it will open up on the Mall of America's third level this coming summer.

It's the latest step in the company's growth, with the original food truck followed by a location at the Midtown Global Market, then Target Field, and a stall at the Minnesota State Fair.

Now it has a chance to serve visitors to Minnesota's biggest tourist attractions, and it's promising to bring its signature Indurrito (Indian burrito) along for the ride.

It's also promising a menu including slow-braised, dry-rubbed legal of lamb, yogurt marinated chicken in tomato curry, and a "smooth aromatic masala sauce" with chickpeas.

Snack items perfect for roaming the mall will also be sold, including Indian-seasoned fries, samosas and crispy-friend chickpeas.

"Hot Indian Foods is all about making Indian cuisine and culture more accessible to a broader audience. What better place to reach a broader audience than at Mall of America,” said CEO and founder Amol Dixit in a press release.

"People visiting Mall of America are there to have a good time, and we look forward to adding a little spice to their day!"

The Mall of America said Hot Indian Foods is the "perfect addition" to the dining options at the MOA, which has been growing over the past year with the introduction of Shake Shack and the soon-to-open Wahlburgers.
