Broadway's biggest hit musical will be in Minnesota for six weeks.

Broadway's biggest hit musical "Hamilton" is coming to Minneapolis' Orpheum Theater Aug. 29-Oct. 7 this year as part of the Broadway on Hennepin season.

Right now, the only way to get tickets is via season subscriptions, which go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Pricing for season tickets start at $359 all the way up to $1,019, but it does give you access to eight Broadway shows set to perform at the Orpheum.

You can buy season passes through the link above, by calling 800-859-7469 or at the State Theatre box office.

The eight shows include:

  • "Hamilton" – Aug. 29-Oct. 7
  • "A Bronx Tale – The New Musical" – Feb. 19-24, 2019
  • "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" –, March 6-17, 2019
  • "Hello, Dolly!" – April 16-28, 2019
  • "On Your Feet!" – Jan. 22-27, 2019
  • "That Play That Goes Wrong" – May 7-12, 2019
  • "Dear Evan Hansen" – May 28-June 9, 2019
  • "Fiddler on the Roof" – July 30-Aug. 4, 2019

“We anticipate this will be our most popular season ever so we are encouraging people to buy their packages as early as possible,” Mark Nerenhausen, president and CEO of Hennepin Theatre Trust, said.

Non-subscriber ticket information has yet to be released, but the Star Tribune warns that those tickets are selling out within minutes in other cities, so the same could very well happen here.

“We anticipate this will be our most popular season ever so we are encouraging people to buy their packages as early as possible,” Mark Nerenhausen, president and CEO of Hennepin Theatre Trust, said.

The Star Tribune adds that there are five companies performing "Hamilton" in the U.S. and London, and the cast performing in Minnesota is the same cast that's performed in Chicago.
